Did you know CNC12 has automatic Laser Power modulation based on cutting Velocity?
Velocity Modulation is when the power control output (PWM) for a Laser is automatically adjusted based on the current machine speed.
This cool feature provides a nice even Laser burn regardless of the machine cutting speed.
Centroid’s Velocity Modulation is a standard CNC12 feature and is controlled by a simple G code: G37.
The G37 command turns on or off the Laser Power Velocity Modulation. To turn on Velocity Modulation simply add a G37 to the Gcode program at the point in the g-code that you would like for the power modulation to be active and CNC12 takes care of the rest!
