The 2001 Cincinnati Milacron Dart 750 Vertical Machining Center (VMC) is a prime example of great Cincinnati CNC iron that's worth saving. Now that the mechanical conversion is complete, I'm connecting the CNC controller to the machine and demonstrating an initial test run of the axes. I'm using the Centroid Acorn controller, which isn't yet widely used in German-speaking countries, but offers several advantages, especially for lathes. I'll discuss the software and its functions in more detail in an upcoming video.”

Marty had a client that wanted his new-to-him TRAK DPM converted to Centroid. The machine had a late 90's vintage A.G.E. 3 Control. Using his Retrofit knowledge and a little nudge from our mix of seasoned Community Forum volunteers and employees, Marty was able to replace the A.G.E. 3 Control with a Centroid Allin1DC and CNC12 to bring it into the 21st century!
